The Facebook News Feed landscape is ever-changing.
To get most out of your Facebook page should stay updated with the latest changes.
This April, Facebook posted two new posts in their News Feed Section.
To make life easier for you, here are the main takeaways.
Facebook Now Considers ‘Time Spent Viewing’ on Articles
The news feed algorithm used to just consider interactions such as shares, likes, and clicks. But as the algorithm advances it takes more and more inputs.
With this new update the algorithm now also looks at how long time a person looks at an article.
The idea is that the more time you spend on an article, the more interested you are. And Facebook will then try to show similar articles to you – and show the article you are reading to people who have same interests as you.
For page admins this means: Make your content interesting. This is not something new so if you are already following a good page strategy then you don’t have to change anything.
Understand The News Feed Better
The second post from Facebook this month was a video from F8.
